Partnership combines Netbank’s banking infrastructure with Jia’s working-capital solutions to streamline how SMEs receive and repay funds

Expanding digital financial solutions for enterprises

BGC Taguig City, PhilippinesNetbank and Jia Financing Inc. (“Jia”) have entered into a partnership aimed at expanding access to working capital for small and medium enterprises in the Philippines. Through the collaboration, Jia is rolling out Jia Accounts to its clients, powered by Netbank’s regulated banking infrastructure.

Jia disburses working capital directly into Jia Accounts and collects repayments via virtual collection accounts. This way, funding and repayment happen in one seamless flow. As a business grows, its financing scales with it, letting SMEs take on bigger orders and larger contracts instead of turning away growth they can’t yet fund.

Through this partnership, Jia combines its proprietary credit technology with Netbank’s regulated banking infrastructure to reach more SMEs. Jia uses AI-powered, data-driven credit technology to underwrite businesses in hours rather than weeks, drawing on the real transaction data of how a business trades, extending credit to SMEs that conventional, collateral-based lending overlooks.

The collaboration reflects Netbank’s broader approach of working with fintechs and business platforms through regulated banking infrastructure: accounts, payments, and APIs to help them build and scale financial products.

“We are pleased to partner with Jia in supporting the financing needs of Filipino SMEs,” said Amiel de Sotto, Head of Cash Lenders. “Access to working capital remains one of the most important growth drivers for businesses. By combining Jia’s SME-focused financing solutions with Netbank’s banking infrastructure, we can help make financing more accessible, efficient, and scalable.”

“Retailers, distributors, and inventory-heavy businesses don’t fail because they’re not good businesses. They get stuck waiting on cash that’s owed to them or tied up in stock,” said Krizanne Ty, President and Country Head at Jia. “Partnering with Netbank means we can close that gap for more of them, and make repayment flows cleaner and simpler for the business owners.”

As SMEs continue to play a vital role in the Philippine economy, the Netbank–Jia partnership aims to help address the financing gap faced by growing businesses, enabling them to manage cash flow, purchase inventory, fulfill orders, and scale operations more effectively.
