Meet Our Founder: Gus Poston

Gus Poston, the visionary behind Netbank, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. With a remarkable 25-year career in banking and 24 years spent living in developing countries, Gus has a deep understanding of diverse financial landscapes.

As the former Head of Strategy for Barclaycard, Gus led strategic initiatives for one of the world’s leading credit card companies, honing his skills in product development, consumer credit, IT, operations, and change management. He has also been a trusted advisor to major Asian banks on transformation, strategy, and operations, helping them navigate complex challenges and achieve sustainable growth.

Gus is passionate about micro-finance, rural banking, and social development, striving to make a positive impact on underserved communities. His extensive background and unwavering dedication to innovation and sustainable growth make him a driving force behind Netbank’s mission to revolutionize banking in the Philippines.

Meet Our Founder: David Dela Paz

Graduated from the University of Asia and the Pacific with a degree in Information Technology and has professional exposure of more than 5 years in both the technical and financial space.

He was a Product Manager at UnionBank of the Philippines and currently, the Product Owner of the bank’s API Developer Portal, an open web-based platform that hosts a variety of banking functionalities/APIs which fintechs, enterprises, SMEs, and developers can freely access and integrate with.

He is also a certified Scrum Master and Agile practitioner from which he draws the tools and principles to deliver products efficiently.
